Debitantsko izdanje Sharm El Sheikh Fashion Weeka 2026 ostvarilo je upečatljiv ulazak na međunarodni modni kalendar, okupivši dizajnere, modele, kreativce i profesionalce iz modne industrije iz više od deset zemalja na sedmodnevnoj proslavi mode, kulture i globalne saradnje.
Manifestacija je održana od 1. do 7. juna pod vođstvom osnivačice i idejne autorke događaja Andreee Cormier Wacker, uz podršku kompanije Sunrise Resorts & Cruises, koja je čuvenu egipatsku destinaciju na Crvenom moru pretvorila u živopisni modni centar. Među dizajnerima koji su se posebno izdvojili bila je Amna Inam, pakistansko-američka preduzetnica i osnivačica brenda Randhawa Brands. Poznata po spajanju južnoazijskog nasleđa sa savremenim zapadnjačkim dizajnom, Amna Inam izgradila je međunarodno priznati modni brend koji slavi identitet, otpornost i multikulturalno pripovedanje kroz modu.
Od osnivanja Randhawa Brandsa, njene kolekcije predstavljene su na New York Fashion Weeku, Paris Fashion Weeku i Los Angeles Fashion Weeku, a našle su se i na stranicama časopisa Harper’s Bazaar, kao i na čuvenom Times Squareu. Još jedno zapaženo predstavljanje priredila je rumunska dizajnerka Mihaela Bărburaș, profesionalno poznata kao Michelle, čije su prefinjene kreacije odražavale bezvremensku sofisticiranost i vrhunsku posvećenost izradi.
Iako je svoju profesionalnu karijeru započela kao saobraćajni inspektor, ljubav prema modi navela je Michelle da osnuje luksuzni butik u gradu Aradu u Rumuniji, specijalizovan za elegantne haljine namenjene najvažnijim životnim trenucima. Njene kolekcije prepoznatljive su po besprekornom kroju, vrhunskim materijalima i pažljivo izrađenim detaljima koji slave ženstvenost sa lakoćom i elegancijom.

Egypt Emerges on the Global Fashion Stage
The debut of Sharm El Sheikh Fashion Week 2026 made a striking entrance onto the international fashion calendar, welcoming designers, models, creatives, and industry professionals from more than ten countries for a week celebrating fashion, culture, and global collaboration.
Held from June 1–7 under the direction of founder and event conceptualizer Andreea Cormier Wacker, with support from Sunrise Resorts & Cruises, the event transformed Egypt’s renowned Red Sea destination into a vibrant fashion hub. Runway presentations, networking events, designer showcases, and exclusive gatherings took place across several of Sharm El Sheikh’s premier venues, including Tal Avenue, Izoya Stage, Osprey Ras Mohammed, Sunrise Remal Resort, Meraki Resort, Sunrise Remal Beach Resort, and Vibe Club.
Designed to bridge fashion, tourism, culture, and business, the inaugural edition established Sharm El Sheikh Fashion Week as an exciting new platform for both established and emerging designers while highlighting Egypt as a growing destination for international fashion.
The Standout Designers Putting Egypt on Fashion’s Global Radar
Among the standout designers was Amna Inam, the Pakistani-American entrepreneur and founder of Randhawa Brands. Known for blending South Asian heritage with contemporary Western design, Inam has built an internationally recognized label that celebrates identity, resilience, and multicultural storytelling.
Since launching Randhawa Brands, her collections have appeared at New York Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, and Los Angeles Fashion Week, while also earning features in Harper’s Bazaar and Times Square. Her work continues to champion cultural representation, empowering women through thoughtfully crafted luxury fashion that seamlessly merges tradition with modern elegance.
Another memorable presentation came from Romanian designer Mihaela Bărburaș, professionally known as Michelle, whose refined creations reflected timeless sophistication and meticulous craftsmanship.
Although Michelle’s professional career began as a road traffic inspector, her passion for fashion led her to establish a luxury boutique in Arad, Romania, specializing in elegant gowns for life’s most memorable occasions. Her collections are distinguished by impeccable tailoring, premium fabrics, and exquisite detailing that celebrate femininity with effortless grace.
For Michelle, fashion is more than beautiful clothing but it is an expression of confidence, authenticity, and individuality. Each design is created with the belief that true luxury lies not only in craftsmanship but in making every woman feel extraordinary.
The week concluded with a presentation by Andreea Cormier-Wacker Couture, whose namesake label reflects the same international perspective that shaped the vision behind Sharm El Sheikh Fashion Week itself.
As both the event’s founder and creative force, Cormier-Wacker demonstrated how fashion can unite cultures while celebrating craftsmanship and timeless elegance.
Beyond the runway, the week also featured performances by young artist Damian Cristiana Sofia and Muza Art, adding an artistic dimension to the celebrations.
