Da li možete da odaberete neku reviju koju ste radili, a koja je imala najveći uticaj na vas?

Definitivno bi to bila moja prva revija za Thierry Muglera. Bilo je neverovatno to što sam hodao ispred Ushera, Kanye Westa i Lady Gage koji su bili u prvom redu. Nikada neću zaboraviti to. Posle te revije sam lutao Parizom i tek sam tada shvatio šta se zapravo dogodilo. To je najbolji osećaj u mojoj manekenskoj karijeri. Imao sam puno divnih trenutaka, ali Thierry Mugler revija je nešto najbolje što mi se dogodilo.

Koja je tajna nepogrešivog stila kod muškarca?

To je veoma lako. Samo budite ono što jeste i tada ćete biti najbolje obučeni. Veoma je važno da sve radite na svoj način. Ponekad je dobro potražiti inspiraciju i u nečijem tuđem stilu, ali opet taj neko neće nositi to na isti način kao vi.

Koja tri odevna predmeta mora da poseduje svaki muškarac?

Patike, crne farmerke i crnu majicu bez printa. Plus kožnu jaknu. To je aposlutna neophodnost ako mene pitate. Jakne, posebno kožne su mi omiljeni komad.

Prepoznatljivi ste po svojoj bradi. Da li imate neki poseban način negovanja?

Iskren da budem ne. Kada vidim da je previše porasla, skratim je. Trudim se da ne bude prekratka ili preduga, već da nekako bude srednja.

Vi ste direktor i osnivač David Koch Style brenda. Šta vas je inspirisalo na to?

Bilo mi je veoma uzbudljivo da kreiram sopstvenu modu. Volim jednostavnost i mislim da je namenjena svima. Takođe mislim da će biti drugačija u budućnosti, nekako posebnija. Videćemo. Ostanite uz nas.

Šta čini David Koch Style drugačijim od drugih brendova?

Zaista ne znam. Mislim da svi rade sve na svoj način.

Kako vidite svoju karijeru u budućnosti?

Moj san je da jednog dana postanem dobar glumac. Takođe, bih voleo da se posvetim modelingu u Americi još više. Videćemo šta će se desiti u budućnosti. Uvek mislim pozitivno i veoma sam optimističan.

Pored posla, kako provodite svoje slobodno vreme?

Uglavnom sa svojom devojkom. Volim takođe da posećujem i fudbalske utakmice mog omiljenog tima Borussia Dortmund. Uglavnom to radim. Sa druge strane, obožavam da provodim vreme sa svojim mačkama. Ali nažalost one žive sa mojim roditeljima koje nisam viđao toliko često ove godine. Jako se radujem božićnim praznicima jer tada idem da ih posetim. Ne mogu da dočekam.

Koju zemlju biste najviše voleli da posetite, a niste imali prilike do sada?

Definitivno Aziju. Nikada nisam bio na Tajlandu, u Singapuru, Vijetnamu i jako bih voleo sve da ih obiđem. Sa druge strane, voleo bih da idem i u Meksiko i na Bahame. Veliki sam fan James Bonda, i još otkako sam gledao “Dr NO”, obećao sam sebi da ću otići na Bahame.

Da li imate neki savet za naše čitaoce? Koja je vaša poruka za njih?

Mislim da je veoma važno da budu svoji. Nikada da ne odustaju od svojih snova i nikada nije kasno da počnu da rade ono što vole i žele da rade. Sa druge strane verujem i u borbu za svoje snove kao i da je jako važno biti u pravom trenutku na pravom mestu.

David Koch: Impeccable style

Can you pick any fashion show you attended that had an extraordinary impact on you? Which one will you remember forever?

Definitely my first show Thierry Mugler. It was unbelievable to walked my first show which was Usher, Kanye West & Lady Gaga to see in the first row and backstage. I‘ll never forget it. After the show I walked around Paris because I can’t realize at that time what’s happened. It was my best feeling I’ve ever had in my modeling career. I had a lot of great moments and feelings in my modeling career but the moment after the Thierry Mugler show was the best.

What is the secret to impeccable men’s style?

That’s very easy. Just be who you are and how you feel best dressed. It’s very important that you do your own way. Sometimes it’s good to look to others for copy something of them but in the end, you have to do your own way.

Which three pieces should every man have in their wardrobe?

Sneakers, black jeans and black non printed T-shirt + leather jacket. A must have for me for sure. Jackets are my favorite especially leather jackets even it’s not black I just love it.

You are very recognizable for your beard. Do you take care of it in any special way?

To be honest I don’t do anything for it. When I think it’s getting to much, I’ll trim it. In the end I like the most when it’s not too long also not too short. It needs to be in the middle. 

You are the CEO and Founder of David Koch Style. What inspired you to start your own brand?

I find it very exciting to make my own fashion. I like it simple. I think it’s good to wear for all. But I think that I will make it more special in the future. We will see. Stay tuned.

What is it that makes David Koch Style different from the other brands?

I really don’t know. I think everyone do it in they own way. 

How do you see your career in the future?

My dream is to become one day a good actor. First of all, I want to work as model more in the states again. Let’s see what’s happening soon. I’m thinking always positive and I’m an optimistic person.

Besides work, what do you do in your spare time?

Enjoying the time with my girlfriend. Watching games of my favorite soccer team Borussia Dortmund in the stadium. That’s I do mostly in my free time. Otherwise, I love to spending time with my lovely cats. Unfortunately, they life with my parents but I see my parents in this year not that much that I wish, unfortunately. I’m looking forward to the Christmas to see my mum and dad finally and my lovely cats as well. I can’t wait for it.

Which country would you like to visit but still haven’t had the chance to?

Definitely Asia. I never been there before but Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam I really want to go there one day. Otherwise, I would like to go one day to Mexico and the Bahamas. I’m a huge James Bond fan and at the first time I saw the James Bond movie “Dr NO” I said to me one day I definitely want to go the Bahamas.

Do you have any advice for our readers? What is your message for them?

I think it’s really important to keep by yourself. Never give up for your own dreams and it’s never too late to start with your work you really wanted to do it. Otherwise believe and fight for your dreams. It helps also to be in the right place at the right time.
