Koju seriju ste u poslednje vreme odgledali u jednom dahu?

Trenutno gledam dokumentarnu seriju “Cosmos”.

Kako vidite sebe kroz pet godina?

Araceli Bazan: Indomitable fashion

Meet the girl whose charisma and fiery red hair charms everyone who comes near her. The model, who loves to write, reveals in an interview with Harper’s BAZAAR which series she watched last and what is the best part of her job.

Hi Araceli, nice to meet you, and welcome to Harper’s BAZAAR Serbia. Can you tell us which project or campaign you are the most proud of working as a model?

When you are passionate about what you do, all campaigns make you feel proud. All of them were important and, but joining Harper’s family and all the inspirational women that have lightened the covers has surely been my most exiting experience.

What is the best and what is the worst part of your job?

Every job has ups and downs and fashion is no different. Trips, hotels, fancy restaurants, wearing clothes that are nearly pieces of art and luxury are part of it. But at the end of the day, both life and fashion industry are very competitive world, and the most enriching experiences have to do with your achievements and failures, the lessons you learn and the magical people you meet along the way. Beauty in fashion lays in the stories behind its people. Human beings are extraordinary. The worst part in fashion? The fleeting in some experiences. Fashion moves fast, and you need to move with it.

Can you describe yourself in 5 words?

Enthusiastic. Sensitive. Revolutionary. Empathic. A dreamer.

What is the secret of keeping your red hair so fresh and good looking? How do you take care of your color?

I take much care of it, from the inside to the outside. A proper diet is fundamental. Mental health is also essential, as our body is a reflex of who we are and how we feel. However, I get he magic touch at Pascual Hairdressing Saloon in Valencia. Their stylists are utterly professional, the take care about my hair and keep its colour bright and healthy.

Who is a public person who you would love to meet or work with?

Mare Curie. Its discoveries were amazing, and she was the first woman to win, not only one but two, Nobel prizes. But what’s even more relevant to me is her strength. She was able to lead a world shaped by men, for men. Her legacy is about empowerment through education and how nobody can take that away from us. She is also a guidance in perseverance and resiliency, and that means something because it brings the concept of “successful woman” far beyond business, politics or acknowledgment. Success is also rising a family, working hard, caring about other and acting with good will. Success is made every day.

Do you have any hobbies? If so, which one?

I love reading. But I am a curious person, and I enjoy very much to experience new things every time I have the chance.

What is the TV show you have been binge watching recently?

I am currently watching a documentary series  named “Cosmos”. I am amazed by all the mysteries the Universe has to offer and how we are all young explorers when facing them.

How do you stay in shape? Any special working out or any special nutrition? What’s your secret?

To keep myself healthy I focus a lot on breathing and meditation.  I also love to have long walks as I believe a nice walk can be curing for your soul. I see it as a moment for contemplation for new ideas or projects to arise. I think of it as the kindest way of exercising.

What are three things you always have with you, and why?

I always carry my notebook with me, since you never know where or when inspiration will show up. Also my fountain pen. I love them, and it was a present from myself. The last thing I always carry are my airpods. I listen to TED talks, podcasts or music as often as I have the chance.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In 5 years’ time I see myself having a wonderful family, working in projects that I am now beginning with and carrying our a foundation for people with functional diversity dedicated to my brother, Iván Bazán.
